Whether you're a reader or a writer, this friendly all-day event at Prestwich Library has something for you.
  • Writers reading from their work: including Bury's hottest writing talent Emma Jane Unsworth talking about her new novel, ANIMALS - which has been described as "Withnail for girls" - and Prestwich's successful historical fiction novelist EM Powell.
  • Creative writing workshops: Writers Sherry Ashworth and Ebba Brooks will be leading creative writing workshops for writers at all levels, and advice for aspiring and practising writers
  • Book Spa: Bury's knowledgeable librarians and other book professionals will be giving you personal reading recommendations - you tell us what you like reading and we'll tell you something else you'd enjoy
